80s Party Costume Ideas: Karate Kid

Ralph Macchio hit his career high in this heart-warming, little guy beats the big mean dude movie, Karate Kid.  If your outer wimp is just aching to release your inner stud, this may be just the 80s costume party idea for you.

This costume is relatively easy to put together, particularly if you have brown hair and own or have access to karate robes.  There are really just two essential elements here:

  

•  Karate Robes

•  Sunburst Headband - you could make one with white cloth and a black permanent marker

•  Bonus Accessory - A great prop would be to get chopsticks (free from your next take out night) and glue or draw on a fly.
